Travel back in time to 17th century France where three famous musketeers are joined by a brave young man, who came to Paris to become a musketeer like them. Prepare yourself for a nonstop, dueling and swashbuckling adventure.

M Musical Company is staging the musical “The Three Musketeers” with a star-studded cast including a member of a K-pop group and veteran actors who have won musical awards.

Based on the novel of French author Alexandre Dumas, Czech producer Oldrich Lichtenberg has turned the work into a stage show with the music of Michael David.

The musical premiered in Korea last year and successfully drew a huge audience to the French classic rendered in Korean style with Czech music.

For this year’s encore, K-pop group Super Junior’s Kyu-hyun stars in a musical for the first time. The doll-faced singer plays the role of d’Artagnan, a country bumpkin from Gascony who wants to join the royal musketeers.

Actors Um Ki-joon, Kim Moo-yeol and singer Jay from Trax also play the roles of young, passionate musketeers-to-be. Um played d’Artagnan in last year’s production while Kim has starred in the musicals, “Thrill Me,” and “Spring Awakening” as well as the film “Scam” (2009).

“I am nervous to sing and act in front of so many people, but I will kick off my new musical career by doing my best,” Kyu-hyun said at a press call last week. His stage debut is scheduled for Tuesday.

He added the senior actors in the cast with him gave useful advice since it is the first time for him to appear in a musical.

“They said I resemble the character of d’Artagnan, especially in the naive aspect,” he said.

“Though a country bumpkin, d’Artagnan is a righteous person fighting to uphold justice.”

Musical actress Kim Ah-sun and Dana of girl group, The Grace, alternate in the role of Constance, the love interest of d’Artagnan.

Athos, the leader of the Three Musketeers, is played alternately by Yu Jun-sang and Seo Bum-seok while musical actor Kim Beop-rae and comedian-turned-actor Kim Jin-soo alternately play the former pirate Porthos. Aramis, the romantic musketeer, is portrayed by Min Young-ki and Choi Soo-hyung.

Each of the musketeers has his own personal story and it is presented as a play within a play. Aramis sings in an operatic scene to show how he came to be with his lover, while Porthos reenacts with his former pirate colleagues on stage.

The storyline follows that of the original book, except the creator of the musical added elements of “The Man in the Iron Mask” to spice up the musical version, with the musketeers trying to save the king from the evil Cardinal Richelieu.

“All for Love,” written by Bryan Adams for the sound track of the 1993 movie of the same title, is also performed in the musical.

The musical “The Three Musketeers” runs through Jan. 30, 2011, at the Grand Theater of Chungmu Art Hall in central Seoul.

Today I was very lucky because I went to see K.R.Y’s concert in Kobe. My seat is located in middle of the sixth line. This is the first time that I don’t need to use binocular to see Kyuhyun singing. I discovered that he is perfect. Today Kyuhyun’s hair style is similar to SS3 beijing and Thai-Korea’s Friendship Concert, is nice to see. His face is small and his good looking body kept my attention. About the song during concert is same as Tokyo’s concert on August. Yesung’s personal solo doesn’t changed, Ryeowook replaced Japanese song to Insomnia. And Kyuhyun was changed his two solo, Korean song is the OST of “Hope Is A Dream That Doesn’t Sleep” and Japanese song is Mika Nakashima’s “Snow”.

As always, good singing. Really touched, this child is always work hard, very busy but he still try to remember the songs, always want to give us surprise. Even though, sometimes Kyuhyun isn’t the one who can make fans happy, but he always tried to use the local language to sing to the fans to listen in the local place. Is not difficult to see the sincerity and strength of this child. I can only say that he is a real singer (not just an idol).

By the way, there has a little footage, in the question and answer session, which asked about the favorite song of KRY, Kyuhyun answer is “Coagulation”, because this song was supposed to be his solo song, is ready in 2007 recorded. After, because of some reason did not record it ( maybe it is because a car accident, and my heart feel a little bit sad ) But at the end, it was received sang by KRY and is was in the 4th album so he loves this song especially. So after all we can see that Kyuhyun still a nice child, he should deserve to get more love from fans.

Asia’s most popular group Super Junior will hold their concert “Super Show 3″ in Japan.

Super Junior will hold their third Asia tour “Super Show 3″ February 18th and the 19th of next year in Yokohama, Japan.  Almost 25000 Japanese fans are expected to attend the concert.

Since this concert will be the first time “Super Show” will be held in Japan, Super Junior members’ bright charms, various performances, grand stage effects will create a fantastic concert, mesmerizing all the fans.

Some critics are saying that Super Junior’s selling power in Japan has already been proved.  Super Junior was introduced as the most popular group in Korea on a popular Japanese drama, “Team Medical Dragon 3.”  Japan is already showing high interest in the group and many are expecting that the upcoming concert will have an overwhelming response.

Also, Super Junior K.R.Y. was the first unit to have their solo concert in Japan held in August.  Because of great number of request for encore performance, they will hold “Super Junior K.R.Y. Special Concert in Japan” in Kobe on November 1st and the 2nd.  On December 1st and the 2nd, Super Junior K.R.Y. will hold their concert in Fukuoka which are expected to have total audience of 20000.

Meanwhile, Super Junior’s third Asia tour, “Super Show 3″ were held successfully in Seoul, Qingdao and Beijing.  The concert will be held in 13 Asian cities including Guangzhou, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore and Manila for a total of 16 shows.
